Diarmaid Kelly

Having left school Diarmaid joined the Stockjobber Pinchin Denny as a blue button, later moving to Henderson Crosthwaite where he specialised in Japanese equities.

He was a founding Director of Baring Securities.

Whilst there he was in charge of the Japanese business and the whole of the principal risk positions the firm took in Japan and Europe. He became Deputy Chairman of the securities business and sat on the Management Committee of Barings Investment Bank.

He is currently a Director and shareholder of the macroeconomic consultancy group CrossBorder Capital which studies Central Bank monetary policy in 75 countries and advises about 100 institutions on strategic asset allocation both geographically and in terms of asset class.
